Photography Competition Sussex Heart of the Village Calling all amateur photographers! AirS is holding a photography competition open to all amateur photographers. The theme is ‘Sussex Heart of the Village’ and we are looking for images from Sussex that show an active, vibrant community under this theme. There are three categories -- People -- Places -- Events You can submit your photograph(s) under one or more categories. The closing date is 30 September – so there is all of the summer to come up with that perfect shot! There will be an exhibition of the photographs at the AirS Annual Conference on 6 November. The application form and the terms and conditions can be obtained from the AirS website.
On August 29th, for the third year running, BCC is to hold its popular annual exhibition at Battle Memorial Hall (click here for directions) please do all come along and bring your friends and family, as usual refreshments will be served in the hall. Lottery grant Battle Camera Club (BCC) was delighted to announce that in August 2008 the club was awarded a lottery grant to purchase digital equipment to take the club forward and to embrace the digital age. This award enabled the club to fully embrace digital photography, attract new membership and to inform current and prospective members of the exciting possibilities that come with digital photography. | ||
