Welcome
Established in 1965, Battle Camera Club aims to provide an informal, friendly, social atmosphere in which members can enjoy their photography in the company of other photographers, exchanging experiences, ideas and views and sharing their images through competition and exhibition.
Recent success in securing funds from 'Awards For All' has enabled the Club to embrace the rapidly developing age of digital photography. We have been able to expand our established film-based activities and to take advantage of the additional opportunities this latest media offers.
The Club endeavours, not only to offer inspiration for members to broaden their knowledge and improve their photographic skills through a variety of presentations from visiting guest speakers, practical sessions and competitions, but also to provide entertainment.
The Club’s season commences in the first week of September and runs through to the beginning of May. Meetings start at 7.30 pm and are held on alternate Mondays in the Shephard Room of the Battle Memorial Hall.
Catering for all levels of ability, everyone is assured of a warm welcome at Battle Camera Club.
